Our Expertise
We have advised on pioneering transactions on the Romanian market, such as the first ever listing of a local company on the London Stock Exchange and the sale of 75% of Rompetrol to KazMunaiGas, one of Romania’s most significant private sector transactions. We have also developed strengths representing the renewable energy sector, in particular we advised on the sale of a major wind farm project to Czech energy giant CEZ.
Bucharest-based attorneys are experienced in cross-border transactions, including the recent acquisition of an urban shopping mall in Bulgaria (EUR 101 million) and a multi-jurisdiction credit line to a major Budapest-based real estate investor.
